REFRACTORY SOLUTIONS
Refractory materials or refractory is a heat-resistant material. Refractories are resistant to decomposition by heat, pressure, or chemical attack, and retain strength and form at high temperatures. Refractories are non-metallic materials having those chemical and physical properties that allows their application for structures/areas, or as components of systems, that are exposed to conditions ideally above 1,000 °F ( 538 °C). Refractory materials are used in furnaces, kilns, incinerators, reactors.
FURMATS provide premium Refractory Solutions for Iron & Steel, Cement, Sugar, Metals, Paper, Ferro-Alloys, Glass Industries. Refractory Products in form of Refractory Bricks, Refractory Monolithics (Refractory Ramming Mixes, Refractory Castables, Refractory Mortars) are available with us in various compositions to fit the requirements of the User industries….

CLASSIFICATION OF REFRACTORIES
Classification Method | Examples |
ACID, which readily combines with bases | Silica, Semisilica, Aluminosilicate |
BASIC, which consists mainly of metallic oxides that resist the action of bases | Magnesite, Chrome-magnesite, Magnesite-chromite, Dolomite |
NEUTRAL, which does not combine with acids nor bases | Fireclay Bricks, Chrome, Pure Alumina |
Special | Carbon, Silicon Carbide, Zirconia |
Method of Manufacture | Shaped :- Dry press process, fused cast, hand moulded, formed normal , fired or chemically bonded |
